We are building early wildfire detection for forests worldwide. Our team works across Spain, Bulgaria, Italy and Moldova.
Founder
Alexei Cosetov
Alexei Cosetov founded Velaya with a background in data engineering and AI. He is bringing that experience to a project that connects observations in the forest with the people responsible for protecting it.
The team is developing the sensor prototype and Velaya Cloud. We want people who work with forests to help shape the questions we test, from where a warning is needed to what makes it useful.

Explain the project clearly
Show what a sensor, a warning and the platform are meant to do for a person looking after woodland.
Be specific about the stage
Distinguish prototype development, local tests and field results. Publish performance claims when there is evidence to support them.
Learn from people in the field
Talk to forest managers, researchers and site operators about their responsibilities before defining a pilot.
